Cambrionix are world leaders in USB charging and sync devices used for Apple and Android tablet deployments in business, education and industry. They wanted us to design and build a CMS website that would also have an OEM support area for distributors and clients to discuss product information and exchange documentation. We feel that the new design is in keeping with their client base, with a much cleaner and fresher corporate look.

Our first Buff design. It was intresting looking and seeing what gave a ‘Buff’ a Buff look. The design works really well in all its wearable forms. So we have our 600 Buffs and already there is a que of Cambridge Triathlon members ready to get their hands on them. Lucky athletes who enetred the ‘Cambridge Triathlon’ will get one in their goodie bag.

Trafficmaster, I am happy to say is a client. While we can’t say what we have done for them, I am pleased to tell you about their app for the iphone. Trafficmaster gives live time traffic info showing where there are problems on the roads. On a map you see directions speed markers. I have set the data to refresh every 5 minutes, but you can set it to every minute! This is a very useful little app that has saved me a few frustrations, and is a real bargan.

A lot has happened and changed in the last ten years … Technology has been a driving force in the changes we have seen, although I am glad to say that the traditional skills we have developed are more important than ever.

Accessibility is paramount in design, there is no point in designing something to look good, if no one can use it or understand it. This applies to everything, be it print or electronic. The most challenging to design for are children, as design must work hand in hand with editorial to generate the correct message. This approach to design that we have developed within the publishing market has set us aside from other design agencies. Our hands-on skills are particularly useful for small companies who require that extra bit of involvement. With larger organisations, consistency in branding is key. Due to the size and complexity of projects we have managed over the years, we are perfectly placed to carry out this type of project.

We have just produced Cambridge Consultants biannual publication Interface but with a difference … to mark the turn of 50 we have re-designed the layout to give a lighter, fresher feel. We have given Interface more space to allow the articles to breath. Introducing more white space, with the use of margins and block colours, as well as using the occasional large full-page image. The publication definitely has a cleaner feel without moving to far away from Cambridge Consultants existing branding.

We at 2idesign have been working on the NEW Parkside Federation Academies branding. It includes a range of media… including the corporate identity, stationary, prospectus and the re-developement of the website. As part of the exciting redesign we have also produced a dynamic TV screen that welcome visitors to the schools. It is in sync with the website, showing upcoming events, latest news and visitors to the school. We feel the NEW branding gives a cleaner, vibrant feel to the school. The NEW website will be launching in the near future.

Time has flown by here in Cambridge, we are almost 10 years old and we have created so much in that time as a graphic design agency. I am going to look back at some of the  projects that we have worked on and share them with you, I think you are going to be surprised and impressed.
