HELPING MANY BUSINESSES
BRING THEIR DESIGNS TO LIFE

24/MAR/12

Cambrionix are world leaders in USB charging and sync devices used for Apple and Android tablet deployments in business, education and industry. They wanted us to design and build a CMS website that would also have an OEM support area for distributors and clients to discuss product information and exchange documentation. We feel that the new design is in keeping with their client base, with a much cleaner and fresher corporate look.

They are flattered …

03/AUG/11

It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Well, Cambridge Garage Doors have been highly flattered of late by two garage door companies pretending to be them!

We were initially asked to design a Yellow Pages advert that represented a local and friendly feel, emphasising that they were the only Cambridge based Garage Door Specialists. The advert had to stand out from all the adverts placed by large National companys’.

Following on from the success of the advert we were asked to design their website, bringing it in line with the successful advert. We produced a CMS that was easy for the client to control, add pages, add new products and write a blog … the illustrative design enforced their brand, giving that friendly local, neighborhood feeling, that Cambridge Garage doors give their clients .

MAKING IT YOUR WEB

09/Feb/11

Contemporary Fusion aims to be more than just a “One stop shop” for IT support. It aims to provide you with a service that makes your IT investments work for you. We came across Contempory Fusion on the developers networking/bulletin board ‘Cambridge Refresh’, where they were looking for a new brand identity and the design of their website. They had a lot of interest from a number of design agencies before choosing 2idesign, a skills-trade was implemented where we could pick their knowledge of server side support in exchange of our design skills.

Open Objects has customers across all major sectors including Government, Local Government and Corporate sectors. 2idesign and Open Objects have worked in collaboration on a number of Local Government websites for youth, adult and family services. With this in mind they asked us to take a look at the design of their own website, to bring it more inline with what we were producing for their clients. We also wanted to get across the strong branding we had developed for some banner designs for them previously.

Facebook for Animals
Only at the the Vet School

21/OCT/10

After successfully designing the Summer School pages for the University of Cambridge Department of Veterinary Medicine, we were asked to re-design the admissions pages of the site. Admissions should not just be a form, it is still a reflection of the establishment that you are applying for and with that in mind, we drew attention to the animals rather then the humans. However, its function is to get people to apply so on the home page we used key features to achieve that.

Parkside SIXTH!

20/SEPT/10

Parkside Sixth Form required a brand that wasn’t just modern and unique, but it had to work with the existing well known Parkside Federation brand and across all the new aspects of Parkside 6.

A brand was created that focused on the number ‘6’, the aim of using this kind of iconography was to begin to create a relationship between the number 6 and the sixth form itself. This is so no matter what environment a number 6 may be seen in, a direct relationship would be made between the number and the sixth form itself.

FAMILY INFORMATION
SERVICE DIRECTORY?

01/AUG/10

The Medway Family Information Service Directory is a resource designed to assist parents, practitioners, children and young people to access and utilise a range of services, resources and activities in the area. Whether you are looking for childcare, support groups, fun things to do, educational opportunities or information about your rights, this directory provides a broad selection of options and information to help you find the services you need. 2idesign were asked to design a website that was easy to navigate as well as being bright and fresh. The coloured areas help you navigate round the site, as do the newly designed icons, which again gives a friendly feel.

Microsoft Gamefest Seattle

11/FEB/10

Gamefest 2010 will be held in Seattle 10th-11th February 2010, where the focus will be on Microsoft’s eagerly anticipated Natal technology.

2idesign is pleased to announce that Phonetic Arts will be participating in the event, using brochures and banners that we have designed and produced. A key aspect of Natal is its natural speech interface with games, and Phonetic Arts will be demonstrating its speech technology and showing how this enhances the game experience.

The Fundamentals of Veterinary Science Summer School is an annual programme held at the University of Cambridge, UK.

2idesign had the objective to design and build a Summer School website which offers veterinary undergraduates the opportunity to consider research-based careers. Following the successful completion of the website, we hope we have impressed the University of Cambridge with a fresh design, that also remains within the guidelines and feel of the University.

It’s alive, it’s alive!

22/NOV/09

Another great website completed by 2idesign. Phonetic Arts delivers technology that generates natural expressive speech, allowing computer games to say any sentence in any type of voice. The CEO Paul Taylor is a recognised world authority on speech technology. Their goal is to free games developers from the constraints of recorded samples and allow them to create rich, expressive and responsive dialogue within their games. It’s clever stuff…
